None Stood Taller The Final Year

Lily remains unable to declare her love for Edward.

Dotty has been captured in Germany.

The D-Day landings are successful. The completion of Operation Overlord marks the end of Lily’s collaboration with Edward. Following the terrible news about Dotty, Lily can sink no lower; her heart is broken. Only destiny can decide her future, and that destiny is Hitler's new vengeance weapon, the V1. From a launch ramp in the Pas-de-Calais, the bringer of death once again reaches out for Lily when a V1 flying bomb leaves Edward critically injured. Hitler’s vengeance weapons present a new and terrible danger to the nation – a danger Station M must rise to.

The character of Lily Heywood is inspired by the life of Vera Atkins, who helped create and operate the SOE F section alongside Colonel Maurice Buckmaster. Step back in time and enter their world. The cast of characters in “None Stood Taller” invites you to experience that life, feel their anxiety, and share their hopes and expectations. But always remember the exploits of those characters pale into insignificance compared to those whose wartime sacrifice granted us our freedom.
